How to Install a Self-Sealing Float Switch

Tools required:                 Self-Sealing Float Switch

                                             Tank

                                             Drill

                                             7/8” Drill Bit

 

Step 1:  Select desire location to mount float switch.  Make sure there is adequate room for the inside portion of the float switch will fit in the area selected.

 

 

Step 2:  Drill a hole using the 7/8” drill bit.

 

 

Step 3:  Insert self-sealing float switch, make sure the arrow on the switch is pointing down.

 

 

Step 4:  Hand tighten seal.

 

Step 5:  Take one wire and run it to a ground, take the other wire and hook it up to the ground of the LED (If applicable) or to the yellow wire in your controller.

 

Step 6:  Fill tank with fluid and check for leaks.
