The DVS3 Progressive Controller from DevilsOwn is the latest technology we have to offer. Its compact, lightweight, and easy to install with a LCD screen. It's designed to give your vehicle stable fluid pressure with a user adjustable range. It contains a high quality built in 4Bar MAP sensor (Boost version), a wide-ranging filtered power supply and a high current switching MOSFET transistor.
Controller General Operation:
- Unit will read/save START and END dial settings. (END Point is where Pump is fully on)
- Pump duty cycle is calculated based on saved dial settings and input reading.
- When input reading reaches the saved START setting, the pump will activate with a 20% duty cycle.
- Duty cycle will ramp up to 100% as input reading reaches the saved END point where the pump will remain fully on.
- The duty cycle percentage increases and is a direct correlation between the input reading (boost or voltage) and saved dial values. This means the pump output will be a completely analogue linear response.
- Optional dual stage (referred to as "Stage 2")
- Controller available as:-
- Selectable Boost (Built-in 4Bar map sensor) or Voltage
- Voltage Input Only
If the END setting is set to a lower value than the START setting. the controller automatically sets the END point to the START point. The pump will then activate at a 100% duty cycle when value is equal to the START setting. It will then switch off when it is below the START setting. If dual stage is enabled, this will also activate. see settings examples.
Example 1
Boost Start 2psi End PSI 33psi – No Stage 2

The graph shows the linear duty to psi response.
Example 2
Boost Start 5psi End PSI 20psi – Stage 2 Enabled

The graph shows the linear duty to psi as well as the stage2 starting at 90% Pump Duty Cycle/18psi.
Example 3
Boost Start 15psi End PSI 15psi – Stage 2 Enabled

With the duty cycle going from 0 to 100% at one single point the Stage 2 solenoid would activate at the same instant.
Voltage Input (white cable)
To prevent loading down the MAP sensor signal, the voltage input to the controller is left floating. This means that tapping into the stock MAP sensor that is connected to your car’s computer will not affect the MAP voltage. However, if the MAP input wire (white) is left disconnected, sampled voltage will be erratic and therefore pump output duty cycle will be erratic.
LEDs:
- Green - This led will light up or flash whenever the controller has power
- Blue - This led will light up whenever flow starts. its brightness is dependent on the duty cycle value and stage 2 activation.
- Yellow - This led will flash for 10 seconds whenever a low fluid level has been detected.
- Red - Fault led - It will be illuminated anytime there is a fault detected by the additional add-on failsafe.
Controller specs:
- Ignition Voltage 8 to 36v
- Standby Current 20ma
- Pump Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Frequency 60hz
- Duty Cycle 20%-100%
- 100% Duty Cycle 20A
- Sensor Voltage Input Range 0-5v
