How to Clean a Check Valve

Tools required:                 (2) -4 AN Wenches

Step 1:  Use the two wrenches and carefully unscrew the check valve, being careful not to lose the spring and ball valve on the inside.

Step 2:  Rinse or wipe in order to clear any debris from the inside of the check valve. Pay particular attention to the ball or where the ball has contact inside the check valve.

Step 3:  Place the spring and ball valve back into the check valve in the order show in the photo on step 1.

Step 4:  Use the two wrenches to screw the two pieces of the check valve back together.
